RESTORATION OF ANTIQUE DESK
Thank you very much for restoring the antique desk for me.
As you are aware, the desk was given to me by my father who was given it by his father. It is an important item in terms of family history. Unfortunately, it was allowed to deteriorate while my parents were living in northern Victoria.
The quality of the work returning the desk to its former glory is truly outstanding and far exceeded my expectations. Seldom do you come across such a fine craftsman prepared to spend the time and give the requisite attention to detail. Thank you.

Palliaer Antiques started at home from our workshop restoring antique furniture and has grown and prospered over the years to be a business recognised for its high quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and knowledge of Antique furniture. After two successfully Antique shops in Annerley Qld we now operate from the country town of Esk Qld which we moved to in 2009 to raise our two young children. Our showroom is located on the bustling tourist strip that runs through the heart of Esk and we continue to restore from a large old dairy barn on our property. In January of 2012 we suffered a hit with the floods devastating our workshop but now we are back on our feet and loving what we do again.
We pride our selves on our genuine traditional french polishing and have even developed our own all natural oils and waxes to maintain and revive Antique furniture with. We both love antique furniture and admire the amazing amount of labour and skill that went into creating many of the beautiful pieces that can still be found today. Our restoration methods are founded on that admiration and respect. We love being a part of their rich history and ensuring they are still around in another 100 years.
